Bloomfield Construction Ltd is a building contractor with a difference, combining the benefits of modern technology with craftsmanship and pride in the job.

We are a family operated company established in 1981 to occupy an unfilled space at the quality end of the construction market in the Essex area which quickly expanded to include London and the Home Counties. We have built recognition for delivering a wide range of products to a very high standard, on time, and within budget.

We have carried out work for a wide range of clients, including Schools, Manufacturers, Local Authorities, Property Management Companies and Private Individuals. As a company we are strongly committed to environmentally conscious construction, and to support the high quality of service provided we employ highly skilled experienced staff. In addition to our own directly employed workforce that allows us to set and maintain a high level of workmanship, we have a selected team of specialist sub-contractors who have worked with us for many years and have a history of being extremely professional.

We are involved in the training of apprentices with liaison with the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) and local training colleges

We undertake design and build projects or work with a clients appointed architects and designers.

We are keen to be involved in the design process so that we can advise on cost effective processes materials to drive the project cost to a minimum but this requires our involvement from the onset and best achieved with a negotiated contract.

Bloomfield Construction Ltd are members of the NHBC and the FMB which means we operate to a strict code of professional conduct.

The Federation of Master Builders is a trade association that promotes professionalism and high quality workmanship. The FMB has a written code of practice which sets out the responsibilities of the contractor and client, their masterbond warranty for 10 years is available on extension and modernization works.
